My name is Jackie Pressley, owner of Cherished Hearts Family Support Services. At the age of 17, I suffered a tragic loss when I miscarried during my first pregnancy. After suffering through that loss alone I realized I wanted to do everything I could to not allow another woman to go through a pregnancy and birth alone. My miscarriage was in March and I was pregnant again that same year in August. That experience was nothing at all like I'd expected. However, it also empowered me to seek the education and experience I needed to give myself what I envisioned.

Since then, I've become a mother to seven children, six sons, and one daughter. I had 6 children naturally (without medication). I also breastfed all 7 of my children until  age one, including one set of twins. I have worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years. I truly believe I was called to birth work. Since I started It has been my goal to provide these support services to all woman, regardless of their economic status. 

Inspired by my own my personal experiences, I sought out and obtained certifications in CPR Training, as well as Prenatal and Postpartum Doula Practice. I have also taken courses in Lactation Management and can provide peer to peer breastfeeding support.
